Draft National Strategy for International Education
In April 2015 the Government released for consultation the Draft National Strategy for International Education.
Feedback on the draft strategy was warmly invited, including suggestions of specific institutional, state and territory and community-based initiatives that further the proposed goals.
Business leaders and employer groups were encouraged to identify opportunities to better link students to meaningful work experience and career opportunities.
The strategy will be finalised and implemented in close consultation with the international education and wider communities, including education providers, businesses, students, governments and community groups. It is intended that the final strategy will be released in the second half of 2015.
