Welcome to the 2016 National Priorities Pool submissions page.
The National Priorities Pool is a component of the Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Programme (HEPPP). Approximately $3.5 million is available under the 2016 round to support projects that develop evidence, trial innovative ideas, or improve programme implementation to maximise opportunity and outcomes for low socio-economic status (SES) groups in higher education.
Grants funding under the National Priorities Pool is only available to universities listed under Table A of the Higher Education Support Act (2003).
To apply for grants funding under the National Priorities Pool you must complete the 2016 National Priorities Pool Expression of Interest forms (Part A, Part B and Part C) for each project you wish to submit. There is no limit on the number of submissions per university. Please contact the student equity unit at your university to obtain these forms.
The focus of the 2016 National Priorities Pool is regional and remote students from low SES backgrounds. Applications must demonstrate that they will assist students from both regional and remote areas and low SES backgrounds in order to be considered for funding.
